"My daughter was born a healthy happy baby. She was fine up until she turned 13 months old, after her MMR shot, I lost her. She stopped talking. She stopped responding when I called her. Her eye contact was gone. 1 found out in 2001 that my daughter had mercury poisoning. The level was 45--off the chart. The doctor put her on DMSA for about six months He stopped her from being on it due to health reasons. My daughter has ulcercibe colitis and an ulcer in her esophagus that is in the pre-cancer stage. Important Note
Just like all biomedical treatments, one cannot expect overnight results with any clay bath. Detoxifying mercury through clay baths is a slow and gradual process. So, it's recommended that the patient take weekly clay baths for a minimal period of six months. Often, most parents have unrealistic expectations of biomedical treatments. Parents must adjust their expectations so that their autistic child can have a fair chance to experience any level of progress with a new biomedical treatment. Parents cannot expect to see noticeable results in only a few short months after beginning a new treatment. Be realistic in your expectations.
